I was an intern with The Montclair Local in June and July of 2021. I worked remotely from 9 am to 5 pm weekdays for eight weeks straight, and sometimes covered in-person events to take photos, videos and get quotes from key sources outside those hours. I interviewed sources via email, phone, etc. and worked on a deadline, wrote and edited articles, attended weekly meetings, kept in contact with supervisors multiple times a day, and worked on a constantly changing, last-minute, flexible schedule.
